Concordia University Chicago annually honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, their communities, their churches, and who exemplify the University’s core values of Christian Faith, The Individual, Excellence, Integrity, and Service.

These Alumni Association awards celebrate alumni & friends who have enhanced the prestige of the University by virtue of their character, integrity, and personal accomplishments. They have achieved remarkable personal and professional achievement as evidenced by a sustained and significant widespread reputation and recognition among their peers.

Athletic Hall of Fame

Induction in the Hall recognizes former players, teams, coaches and other individuals who best exemplify the mission, spirit and philosophy of Concordia-Chicago and our Department of Athletics.

Distinguished Alumni Awards—Undergraduate & Graduate

This honor is presented to individuals whose service to the church and community has brought honor to their alma mater through their vocation since completion of their degree.

Spiritus Christi Award

This honor is presented to individuals who have performed their responsibilities with unusual effectiveness, influence, and highest quality of service to the Church at large. Their character, integrity and actions have directly and profoundly improve the quality of life for others.

These awards will be only given when an individual nominated meets the merits of the awards and may not be selected every year.
