Service to the community is a longstanding and integral part of Concordia-Chicago's identity.

CUC offers various resources and opportunities for members of the greater community to engage with the University, both on and off campus.

Track and Athletic Field

The University's track and athletic field is currently open to the public when not in use by the Concordia-Chicago athletic teams or community partners.

General public access hours are posted at the south entrance to the track. Daily availability may be viewed using the University's master facility use calendar.

Early Childhood Education Center

The Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) provides a Christ-centered environment where children from birth to age 6 learn and grow through project-based learning, social interaction, leadership, team discovery, physical play and expressive arts.

Being connected to the University sets the ECEC apart from other educational learning institutions:

  • Exposure to the University’s music and art departments
  • Spiritual activities including bi-monthly Chapel
  • Once-a-week visits, for three and older classes, to the University dining hall for balanced meals and community time
  • Access to campus-wide facilities for learning, exploring and daily exercise
  • Enrollment through kindergarten, making the move from preschool upward a natural and stress-free transition
