The Concordia-Chicago women's soccer program is coming off a very successful 2016 campaign where they made the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament as the number five seed with a 10-8-2 overall record and 6-4 NACC record. The Cougars lose eight seniors from the 2016 team, so the new year will be a challenge head coach Chris Brown embraces as he looks forward to what his young players make that next step in their development.  Read Season Preview >>

CougarFiles: Case of the Missing Mascot

Conference rivals have taken Charlie T. Cougar, and we need your help to locate him! Puzzlemaster Wil Zambole BA '96 has customized this campus-wide hunt, similar to an "escape room," for CUC students, alumni and friends. Teams of four participants will have 90 minutes to conquer the clues and locate our favorite Cougar. Each CougarFiles team must include at least one CUC community member age 18 years or older. Younger guests are welcome, but CougarFiles is intended for guests age 13 and older.

Beginning of fall semester 1517 at University of Wittenberg finds Hamlet (senior, class of 1518), John Faustus (professor, philosophy) and Martin Luther (professor, theology) at a crossroads. As the sagas of these three men overlap and intertwine, they end up irrevocably affecting the course of each other's lives. Written by David Davalos, The Collective's production is directed by Andrew Pederson BA '01.

Concordia's second-annual Homecoming festival has expanded and will feature Carnival Rides and Inflatable Activities on Friday. Saturday the event grows again when we add a Balloon Artist, Faculty Block Party featuring your favorite departments and majors as well as Food Trucks (ala carte) and a Beer Garden featuring Oak Park Brewing Company craft ales.

Homecoming Football Tailgating - New Info for 2017!

Concordia University Chicago is proud of its school spirit and knows that tailgating is part of its football fans’ tradition. Tailgating in designated areas opens three (3) hours before game time and closes two (2) hours after the game ends with spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. CUC students who are 21 years or older are permitted to participate following the CUC Alcohol at Special Events Policy. Guests are asked to familiarize themselves with CUC's Tailgating Protocol.
