Golden Celebration events are created to be :"a la carte" and accessible for both alumni and their guests whether you come one day or the entire weekend. Women's Soccer Scrimmage v. North Park 1 p.m.

Opening Service Choir Rehearsal 6 p.m.
Choir Room, Kretzmann Hall 
Local alumni, under the direction of Dr. Charles Brown, 
are encouraged to join current students for this 
rehearsal to celebrate in our special Sunday afternoon service.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 23

CityScape: An Intimate View of 
Everyday Places and Spaces 
Exhibit by Maria Gedroc available throughout weekend

Be sure to stop by the welcome table upon arrival to 
pick up name badges and weekend materials as 
well as a small reunion gift.

World Tour & 1969 Memories 3 – 9 p.m.
Rugland Room, KCC
Classmates are assembling mementos and souvenirs 
for a small exhibit to celebrate your journey in 
River Forest and beyond.

Golden Alumni Lounge 3 p.m. –  10 p.m. 
Alumni Room, KCC
The lounge is reserved all weekend as a room 
for classmates to gather, take a break or 
enjoy refreshments.

Opening Service Choir Rehearsal 6 p.m.
Choir Room, Kretzmann Hall
Alumni join Dr. Charles Brown and current students 
for rehearsal to sing in our special Sunday afternoon service. 
Required if participating.

Around the World Social 7 – 9 p.m.
Alumni Room, KCC 
Connect with tour mates during this casual gathering 
featuring heavy appetizers and beverages.

A short "state of the university" presentation is 
included to share what's new in our 156th academic year.

Much has changed since your time on campus but 
much has remained the same. Guests are invited to 
pick two sessions to learn directly from University 
leaders to hear updates from the Music Department, 
Athletics, College of Education, and 
International Student Services.

evening to celebrate your journeys on campus and 
the years since. Alumni are asked to pick which 
dinner they will attend including:

Opening Service of 156th Academic Year 
& Installation of University President
Dr. Russell P. Dawn 4:00 p.m.
Chapel of Our Lord
For students arriving and returning, we open the new 
school year with significance to bless the legacy of our 
graduates and commission alumni in residence.

NEW: The formal installation of Dr. Dawn will take
place as a part of the festivities. Attendees are welcomed
to stay after the ceremony for a celebration featuring
live music and complimentary dinner.
