CougaPalooza Festival Highlights Homecoming Weekend
CougaPalooza, Concordia's second-annual Homecoming festival, has expanded and is taking over the Pillars front lawn. Friday, Sept. 29 (2 - 6 p.m.) features a variety of Carnival Rides and Inflatable Activities.
On Saturday, Sept. 30 (12 - 6 p.m.) the event grows again with Caricature Artist, Faculty Block Party featuring your favorite departments as well as Food Trucks from Trattoria 225, Carnivore's Ministry of Meat, and Cupcakes for Courage and a Beer Garden featuring Oak Park Brewing Company craft ales.

CougarFiles Turns Campus into Outdoor Escape Room
CougarFiles: The Case of the Missing Mascot, Friday, Sept. 29 (7 p.m. start), is Concordia's custom version of an escape room written by Schemes & Themes puzzle master Wil Zambole BA '96. You and three teammates have an hour to travel around campus to crack codes, solve riddles, piece puzzles, and find clues in order to save Charlie T. from devious rival mascots. This puzzle hunt is family-friendly but recommended for sleuths age 13 and up. Each team of four must have at least one member of the Concordia community whether students, alumni, faculty or staff. Worship with Classmates as Part of Your Celebration
Faith matters at Concordia and is an important part of Homecoming weekend. Help us Fill the Chapel on Friday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gerard Bolling BA '12 (Bethlehem Lutheran/St. Louis, MO). Alumni can join us in person or through our live Chapel web stream. On Sunday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m., University Pastor Jeff Leininger is joined by Rev. James Hennig (Concordia Lutheran/Springfield, IL), Michelle Hennig BA '19 and Angela (Hennig) Bahr BA '16, as guest preacher.
Inaugural Maroon & Gold Banquet Celebrates Concordia's Impact
Nearly 35 tables have been sold for the first-ever Maroon and Gold Banquet on Saturday, September 30 at 6 p.m. A fundraiser to help grow our alma mater, the evening celebrates not only our legacy but also what the future holds for CUC.
