The variety of works on display will showcase drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, graphic design, artists’ books, ceramics, sculptures and more.

“The curatorial acrobatics of sifting, selecting and preparing art from the graduating students’ college years is such a rewarding experience,” says Nikkole Huss, professor of art and curator of Concordia-Chicago’s art collection. “My behind-the-scenes look at their professional portfolios has reinforced the students’ growth over time and affirmed the strong foundation provided by all art faculty. The work you will see on display was created with courage and confidence. Wall signage outlines additional information on the art, and also chronicles the students’ next steps toward career goals and serving their communities.”

The Ferguson Art Gallery is located in Kretzmann Hall at Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest, IL. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit CUChicago.edu/ferguson or call 708-209-3013.
