Concordia University Chicago presents “Sense of Place,” an art exhibit that is free and open to the public. Pat Coffman Huss, artist and longtime art educator, and her daughter Nikkole Huss, associate professor of art at Concordia-Chicago, will exhibit together for the first time in a two-person show at the university’s Ferguson Art Gallery from August 10 to September 25.
Concordia University Chicago has been selected as both a 2015-16 College of Distinction and Christian College of Distinction. The University has been part of a select group of colleges to earn this prestigious recognition since 2010.
Concordia-Chicago recently named Sandra Nelson, as Assistant Vice President for Major Gifts and Planned Giving. In this role, she will be responsible for providing leadership and support to strategic fundraising initiatives in the University’s Foundation office.

Spring Commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Geiseman Memorial Gymnasium on Concordia Unversity Chicago's campus. The Undergraduate ceremony is at 10:30 a.m. and the Graduate ceremony is at 3 p.m.
Concordia-Chicago’s computer science department is offering a free Robotics Camp this summer in partnership with Youth Services, Oak Park and River Forest Townships. The camp will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 1 through 12.
Concordia University Chicago’s Early Childhood Education Center has been reaccredited for the next five years by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
