Concordia-Chicago ranked fifth among best value small Christian colleges
Concordia University Chicago has been recognized as one of the nation’s “20 Best Value Small Colleges for a Christian Studies Degree” in 2017 by Best Value Schools. The University was commended for its innovative Theology and Languages department and for its Deaconess Studies major, the only undergraduate program leading to deaconess certification in the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).
Best Value Schools (www.bestvalueschools.com) selected colleges that offer at least two majors for students seeking a bachelor’s degree in the area of Christian Studies, maintain an overall undergrad graduation rate of at least 50 percent and demonstrate a commitment to affordable education with estimated costs of less than $25,000 a year.
“This distinction is a testament to the University’s focus on providing a meaningful and relevant Christian education for our undergraduates,” said Eric Matanyi, assistant vice president for communications and marketing at CUC. “Concordia University Chicago prepares students of all backgrounds to be successful servant-leaders in their lives on campus and beyond.”
