Student Art Invitational exhibit opens Feb. 27 at Concordia-Chicago
The Ferguson Art Gallery at Concordia University Chicago presents the Student Invitational and Graduating Art Minors’ Show from Feb. 27 to April 2. The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will feature a special faculty-selected eclectic array of two- and three- dimensional art works created in Fall and Spring semester art classes.
A highlight of the show celebrates the works of students graduating from Concordia-Chicago with a minor in art or graphic arts in 2017. These students are Elizabeth Eschbach, Nicole Garza, Mary Rose Peterson, Maricarmen Rodriguez, Taylor Walsh and Mallory Siska. TV monitors will also feature graphic arts and film compositions.
A reception with the student artists will be held in the gallery Wednesday, March 1, from 4 to 5 p.m. All are invited and welcome to attend.
