She earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts where she studied with internationally acclaimed artists Adam Neiman and Winston Choi. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, summa cum laude, from Azusa Pacific University where her principle teacher was Tannis Gibson.

Sudman is at home on the stage due to her performance in over thirty musical theater productions throughout her childhood and adolescence. She is passionate about piano performance in all avenues, ranging from giving solo concerts to collaborating with instrumentalists, vocalists and living composers. Sudman specializes in classical music but is also well-versed in religious music, 1920s-50s American Songbook/Jazz Standards and musical theater. Along with harpist LeAnne Bennion, she is part of Ten Pedals, a fresh and engaging harp and piano duo.

She has been an accompanist at multiple churches for seven years and currently holds the position of Director of Music at Woodridge United Methodist Church. She has taught piano lessons to children and adults for seven years in her private studio, with the Azusa Conservatory of Music, and joined Concordia University Chicago's Preparatory and Community Piano Program in 2017. Sudman’s goal as a pedagogue is to cultivate informed and imaginative musicality and expression in her students based on a foundation of effective technique. She views music as an opportunity for communication, expression and connection, and finds joy in helping her students discover these gifts. In addition to musical performance and pedagogy, Sudman is a prolific writer and has been highly praised for her writing within the fields of musicology, musician wellness and poetry.
