Laurie Zack, EdD, APRN, FNP-BC, LPC, has two decades of experience in higher education settings and nearly thirty years of healthcare experience working with patients of all ages. She has experience in pediatric nursing, psychiatric mental health nursing, primary care, family practice, and community and public health nursing. In addition to her years of teaching in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings, she has served in a wide variety of university administrative and leadership positions. She uses all of these experiences to augment creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning; invest in the personal and professional growth of her students and future nursing professionals; and advocate for quality nursing education with a student-centered approach.
