The Klinck Memorial Library is a member of the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) which shares resources, including the I-Share online catalog, among 91 libraries. CARLI created two versions of an openly licensed brochure that helps to explain open textbooks: PDF version and Microsoft Word version that can be customized with local information.
Course Reserves and Electronic Resources
Library materials as well as personal items placed on reserve by Concordia faculty for the use of Concordia students are kept on reserve for one semester. Items can be placed on reserve online or by filling out a request form available at the Access Services Desk. Learn more.
This tutorial explains how to share full-text electronic library resources in Blackboard.
For collection development in your subject areas, contact library liaisons. You may also email requests for new materials that you will be using for classes to Lee Forrest, Technical Services Librarian or use a suggestions form.
Software Installation on Library Computers
Faculty members can request additional software be installed on library computers through the following procedure. The requesting faculty member must submit the request to the CougarNet helpdesk giving justification and in which labs the software is needed. Any available technical information to support the program must be submitted with the request at least one month prior to the start of the semester it is needed for and no additional software will be installed during a semester.
