  • Making it Different – Instruction for Diverse Learners

    This two part workshop will take place Saturday, January 16, 2016 AND Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The workshop is worth 6 PDH's (Formerly called CPDU's) and is presented by Donna Beck.

    This two part workshop will take place Saturday, January 23, 2016 AND Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The workshop is worth 6 PDH's (Formerly called CPDU's) and is presented by Deborah Blanco. 

  • Picture Books as Tools for Instruction - Absolutely!

    This two part workshop will take place Saturday, February 13, 2016 AND Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The workshop is worth 6 PDH's (Formerly called CPDU's) and is presented by Donna Beck.

    This two part workshop will take place Saturday, March 12, 2016 AND Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The workshop is worth 6 PDH's (Formerly called CPDU's) and is presented by Jessica Iovinelli. 

  • Urban Teachers Conference

    Join us on February 12, 1016 for the Urban Teachers Conference on Concordia University Chicago's campus in the Christopher Center, Room 200. The topic for this year's conference is "Google for Educators" and is worth 4.5 PDHs. Jessica Iovinelli, Google trainer for Elmwood Park School District #401 will lead the conference. Participate as we share what works, what doesn’t, learn what is necessary, what isn’t and the best ways to make it happen. 

The Department of Division of Innovation and Outreach offers annual conferences, workshops throughout the year. New conferences/workshops are designed by the Division of Innovation and Outreach personnel and academic department faculty on an ongoing basis.
