Through the Institute of Professional Studies, Concordia University has created the Academy of Continuing Professional Education as a part of the ongoing effort to meet the needs of educators seeking professional development activities. Through the Academy, Professional Growth Opportunities (PGOs) are planned and offered to those in our educational community.

The 41st Annual Early Childhood Conference will take place on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by: Concordia Early Childhood Education Center College of Education/Division of Innovation and Outreach. An In-Service Experience for Early Childhood Educators Birth to Grade 3.
This three-day workshop (Jan 14, 21, 28) is intended for beginners and intermediate users of Google. We will dive in depth into G Suite apps Drive, Docs, Forms, Sheets, Slides, Gmail and Calendar and learn how these can be used in an educational setting for student growth, collaboration and organization.
This two part workshop will address use of appropriate and engaging language arts activities and digital writing, you can stimulate your students’ creative and innovative ideas to enhance learning within the content area classroom. Students will present and discuss a content area activity that stimulated and enhanced their students learning within the content area classroom.
