Commissioned by the Lake Placid Sinfonietta, a professional chamber orchestra.
The group produced a CD. The angel who supported the project requested the carols:

Written and recorded in 2001.
As the composer was finishing up details, the recording engineer called and said, “Turn on the TV.” The date was September 11th, 2001.
