Giving To Concordia

Martin Luther Society

Committed Support for Future Church Professionals

Concordia is privileged to have prepared thousands of professional church workers. For more than 140 years, Concordia has remained true to its mission, preparing people to lead lives of service in our Lutheran churches and schools.

The Society’s Role

In 2000, the Martin Luther Society was formed with the mission to provide support and financial assistance to students pursuing church work.

Too often students and families are often unable to cover the cost of four or more years of college education; therefore the Society works to guarantee that financial need will not prevent students from preparing for ministry. And as our churches and schools continue to need more well-equipped servant leaders, strengthening recruitment and increasing student aid is essential.

Membership

With a single gift of $300 or more, you will become a member of the Martin Luther Society.

As a member, you:

  • Join a select group of individuals and families who wish to support the ministry of future church workers, ensuring congregations have the staff necessary to share and spread the Gospel
  • Provide greatly needed funds for those individuals with a heart for service who otherwise could not attend Concordia or would face extreme debt upon beginning ministry

Your membership also provides you the unique opportunity to honor a church worker who has touched your life. With your $300 gift, you can thank someone special for their service through a special letter and personalized certificate.
