Campus Activities Board
Campus Activities Board is an interdependent organization that values integrity, creativity, and respect and aims to create positive memories and build community through diverse, fun, and purposeful events. As an organization, CAB collaborates with other student groups and even other universities to enhance the experience of Concordia students. All student members have the opportunity to grow as leaders within the group and the campus, promoting personal development and creating opportunities to build the lasting friendships and memories that Concordia Alumni are proud to remember.
CAB meets weekly to plan university-wide events and all students are welcome and encouraged to join!
Annual CAB-Sponsored Events include a variety of Homecoming & Spirit Week activities, seasonal programming, and signature events, such as:
Mr. CUC - A mock male beauty pageant where gentlemen paticipate in a entertaining, friendly competition featuring modeling of formal wear, showcasing hidden talents, and performing together for a group dance - all vying for the crown of Mr. CUC.
The Roommate* Game - Whether as roommates, best friends, or siblings, pairs of Concordia students compete to show how well they know their partners in this annual event modeled after The Newlywed Game.
Spring Formal - CAB's most highly anticipated event is the spring formal dance, held at various locations throughout the city, including The Museum of Science & Industry, The Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Willis (Sears) Tower, and the Shedd Aquarium!
CUC Shine Awards - Concordia's Student Choice Awards is a year-end celebration of CUC's students, faculty and staff. Nominations and voting take place throughout the spring semester, culminating in a red carept gala and awards show in the final week of classes. Visit the CUC Shine Awards page for more information!
