- Students learned insider aspect of retail marketing and merchandising while visiting Whole Foods Market
- Marketing students benefited from professional seminars at the annual Direct Marketing Convention
- Art students viewed the collections at the Art Institute and the Museum of Contemporary Art
- Geography students immersed themselves in cultures while touring several Chicago neighborhoods (Ukrainian Village, Chinatown, Pilsen) and visiting cultural museums and authentic restaurants
