Volunteer Participation is Key to Cougars' Success

An ever-growing growing number of volunteers are sharing their time and talents with the entire Concordia community. Whether in Chicagoland or across the country. Alumni, students and friends will make a difference by sharing their diverse talents in leadership, administration or tactical support for both short- and long-term commitments.

Class & Club Agents

Class and affinity reunions don't come together overnight. Planning during non-reunion years, approx. 18 - 24 months in advance, is key to the executing a successful gathering. Class & Club Agents, or Co-Agents, take the lead to plan class- or activity-specific gatherings at Golden Celebration or Homecoming & Reunion Weekend. Leaders are currently be sought to encourage classmate participation at the following reunions:

  • Golden Celebration 2012 (Aug) - Class of 1952 & 1957 Connecting Team
  • Homecoming & Reunion Week 2012 (Oct) - West Sub-Concordia Nursing Alumni
  • Homecoming & Reunion Week 2012 (Oct) - Wrestling Alumni
  • Homecoming & Reunion Week 2012 (Oct) - African-American & Latino Alumni
  • Golden Celebration 2013 (Aug) - Class of 1953, 1958, & 1963 Connecting Team
Alumni Advisory Council

The Council is made up of 25 key leaders who help connect Concordia alumni with their alma mater while encouraging contributions and time and resources. Members serve a two-year term, renewable, and work to engage potentail volunteers and donors, generate excitement among classmates and identify partnerships for the Office of Alumni Relations.The Advisory Council typically meets twice annually.Click here to read the Advisory Council job description.
