Playoff Bound Cougars Win Bid for Home Field Advantage

The nationally-ranked Concordia University Chicago Cougars (10-0, #18) are headed to their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III football playoffs. Alumni and friends are invited home to cheer on the Northern Athletics Conference championship team for first round competition on Saturday, November 17 at Cougar Stadium. The Cougars will take the field at 12 p.m. CST against Bethel University Royals (8-2, #23).

Vote Coach Lonnie Pries '93 for Liberty Mutual's Coach of the Year

Cougar Football Head Coach Lonnie Pries '93 is nominated for the Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award. This annual award, endorsed by the College Football Hall of Fame, recognizes coaches who demonstrate Sportsmanship, Integrity, Responsibility and Excellence both on and off the field.

Coach Pries is currently ranked #4 for NCAA DIII in fan votes, and Cougar fans can help move him up the ranks. Everyone is encouraged to vote once daily (until November 30) to help secure Coach Pries' spot as a finalist. Vote Today >>

Reservations Required for Saturday Tailgate Parking

The Cougar Tailgate tradition enjoys its playoff debut this weekend as alumni, family and fans connect with players past and present. The David/Jonathan Parking Lot opens at 9:00 a.m. for tailgating and continues after the game for fans to meet and greet players.

Pre-registration is required and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one space is allowed per family. Friends are encouraged to share spots to allow as many fans to participate as possible. Reserve Your Spot Today >>
