Concordia-Chicago celebrates National Lutheran Schools Week

Lutheran Schools throughout the United States will be celebrating National Lutheran School Week, January 27-February 2, 2013. This year’s theme is “Baptized for This Moment,” based on Acts 2:38-39. A schedule of celebration events in the chapel can be found here. Since 1864, Concordia University has prepared and equipped teachers and church workers for service in Lutheran schools. Many alumni continue to be leaders and educators, proclaiming Jesus Christ to the students in their classrooms and to the families in their schools. We at Concordia celebrate with our alumni and all Lutheran teachers and students during National Lutheran Schools Week. We thank God for the rich history of Lutheran education and ask His blessing on our schools during National Lutheran Schools Week.
