Former Kraft executive Paula Sneed to headline Concordia-Chicago’s ‘Women’s Leadership Challenge’

 Nov. 1, 2011—Paula Sneed, former Kraft executive vice president of global Marketing resources and initiatives, will speak at Concordia University Chicago Nov. 17.

Sneed will discuss “Creating Your Future” at 7 p.m. in Krentz 120 on Concordia University Chicago’s campus, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest. Free, handicapped-accessible parking is available in the visitors’ lot north of the University parking structure off of Bonnie Brae Street.

Part of a workshop series, “Women Helping Women” at Concordia-Chicago, Sneed’s presentation will discuss the power and potential people have to create their own future through planning, execution and willingness to start over—if needed.

Sneed will draw on examples from her personal and professional life to show how she successfully shaped her future and illustrate how attendees can take charge of their futures.

Sneed is the chairperson and CEO of Phelps Prescott Group, a strategy and management consultant group that she co-founded in 2007.  She has served as executive vice president, global marketing resources and initiatives and member of the Management Committee of Kraft Foods, Inc. She has also held a variety of marketing, general management and senior executive roles, including chief marketing officer and executive vice president of several divisions for General Foods.
