West Suburban Medical Center partners with Concordia University Chicago to provide comprehensive student health services

West Suburban Medical Center is pleased to begin offering health services at a new office at Concordia University Chicago.
The medical center, through its parent company, Vanguard Health Systems, will provide health services to Concordia University Chicago students, faculty and staff. Vanguard Health Systems’ Occupational Health and Immediate Care Clinic in River Forest will open a satellite office on the campus of Concordia University, Chicago. Starting Aug. 29, two physicians, Patricia Russell, M.D. and Leslie Michaud, M.D. will begin seeing students at that office.
“With growing enrollment, we wanted a health care provider available on campus to meet our students’ needs,” said Jeffrey Hynes, vice president of student services at Concordia University Chicago. “We feel Vanguard and West Suburban are the right people to provide this service and we look forward to developing a long-term relationship.”
Concordia’s proximity to the hospital’s River Forest Medical Campus allows for a comprehensive extension of diagnostic services should they be required after consultation with the physicians.
