Annual/Pillars Fund
Several times each year, Concordia University alumni and friends are encouraged to make unrestricted gifts to the Annual/Pillars Fund. The benefits of Pillars Fund gifts go far and wide, supporting:
- Student scholarships
- Faculty development
- Academic program enhancements
- Technology upgrades
- Library and curricular materials
- Buildings and grounds maintenance
- General operating expenses and other ongoing needs
Both outright (current) and planned (deferred) unrestricted gifts are acceptable for Pillars and are thankfully received. Through regular giving of unrestricted gifts, Concordia University will continue to be a leader in higher education-attracting the best and brightest students, a superb faculty, and offering a campus setting where academic learning and Christ-centered living are harmoniously intertwined.
Who is asked to support the Annual/Pillars Fund?
All alumni, friends, parents of current students of the university, faculty and staff are asked to support the ongoing needs of Concordia University by making at least one generous unrestricted gift each year to the Annual/Pillars Fund. Concordia University thanks donors for all gifts, and recognizes gifts of $100 and above.
Why should I give to the Annual/Pillars Fund?
Your unrestricted dollars enable Concordia University to provide high caliber academic programs in a modern campus setting at a reasonable cost to students. Through Pillars giving, students become successful, fulfilled career professionals, and the value of a Concordia University degree remains strong.
Can my gift really make a difference?
Absolutely! Every gift makes a difference! Your gift, when combined with those of other alumni and friends goes a long distance in funding the needs of the university. The number of constituents who donate each year, not simply the total amount raised, also influences foundations and corporations, as they consider our grant requests. In particular, they examine the percentage of dollars given by our alumni.
Simply put, there's no better investment you can make than to ensure our future church workers and Christian leaders in all walks of life receive a solid education.
