College of Arts & Sciences
Dr. Roberson teaches courses in intermediate programming and software engineering, where she focuses on methodology that can be applied to all phases of software development projects. Watching students begin as novice programmers and finish with superior coding and troubleshooting skills is rewarding for Dr. Roberson. She serves as the Product Services Manager for Concordia Information Systems.
She encourages student involvement with class related projects, which included redesigning a local church’s Web site and adding to a youth baseball league’s registration site. Among her research interests are how the thought process is used, the differences between beginning and expert programmers and how people code and troubleshoot. Dr. Roberson has been a member of Concordia’s faculty since 1997.
