Black History Mobile Museum

Concordia University Chicago’s Black Student Union is sponsoring a daylong visit by the Black History 101 Mobile Museum on Thursday, February 2, starting at 9 a.m. in the Cougar Den of the Koehneke Community Center (KCC). The exhibit will be in place until 5 p.m. that same day.
The Black History 101 Mobile Museum is an innovative traveling tabletop exhibit depicting Black memorabilia spanning from slavery to Hip Hop. The museum has over 5,000 rare treasures among its collection including original documents from historic Black figures whose contributions helped shape the United States. Artifacts in this unparalleled mobile collection represent items from the categories of slavery, the Jim Crow era, music,sports, the Civil Rights and Black Power eras, and popular culture.
