Leadership Development: Pillars of Ministry
Congregation Leaders:
Audit Concordia Courses for Just $15/Credit Hour!
Concordia University Chicago is pleased to serve the church in a significant way by aiding local congregational leaders through training––a crucial factor success of today’s parish ministry. This unique opportunity is a partnership in leadership development designed to provide a way for congregation leaders (paid staff and volunteers) to receive top-notch training from first-rate instructors.
Specifically, Pillars of Ministry seeks to aid non-ordained church workers who might benefit from some course work in the Word. For example, Concordia's wide array of course selections may be beneficial to Elders whose ministry would be enhanced by a course in dealing with grief or a course in counseling. Additional programs may enhance children's ministry techniques and initiatives, aid music ministry professionals with advanced level training in music topics or Web site design courses to benefit church Web site administrators.
