Degree Requirements
Completion of 30 semester hour program and successful completion of the (inclusive) Capstone. (No more than 15 Semester Hours may be taken at the 4000 level.)
Program Objectives
The Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies is designed to enable the student to
- Think critically about important historical, social, moral, theological and aesthetic questions.
- Employ the methodologies of various liberal arts disciplines.
- Explore the relevance of the liberal arts to life as a productive citizen.
- Engage and critically respond to texts and ideas from other eras and cultures.
- Continue the process of learning from the context of life experiences.
