Considering Graduate Studies?
- Check out the U.S. News website specializing in information on graduate study.
- Talk with your faculty advisor or Career Services about the need for a graduate degree in your area of interest.
- Discuss with your advisors or a representative of the Career Services Office whether you should attend graduate school immediately, or take a job to gain professional experience, upon completion of your undergraduate degree.
- Follow this Graduate School application timeline:
Sophomore year
- Discuss with your advisor any appropriate coursework to take during your undergraduate program that will prepare you for graduate school and fulfill any pre-requisites.
- Maintain good grades throughout your program of study.
Junior year
- Gather information on graduate schools that offer the type of program you seek.
- Register for and take the GRE or other appropriate entrance examinations.
Senior year
- Contact individual graduate schools for application information and specific requirements.
- Submit application materials in the Fall of your senior year.
- Apply for graduate assistantships and other forms of financial assistance

- Some graduate and law school catalogs are shelved in the Academic Advising office in lower level Addison Hall (enter Registrar's office and go down the stairs)

Graduate School Entrance Examinations
Concordia's Career Services office provides copies of GRE and GMAT examination registration booklets. You can also check these graduate school entrance test sites:
- GRE Graduate Record Examination (GRE) - Many graduate programs require this general examination, and some programs also require specific subject tests.
- GMAT Graduate Management Admission Test - most often required for admission to Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programs
- LSAT Law School Admission Test
- MCAT Medical College Admission Test
- KAPLAN - Graduate level test preparation
- ETS The Educational Testing Service - the company that runs the GRE and GMAT testing
