Professor Putra teaches courses focusing on teaching methods for physical education majors in the areas of team, individual and dual sports, adapted physical education and physical education clinical experiences. She also supervises physical education student teachers at Concordia University Chicago. Among her research interests are physical education in the school setting and pedagogy. Prior to serving Concordia, Professor Putra worked at North Park University as an assistant professor. She also taught high school level physical education, health, human anatomy, and biology. She has been a member of Concordia’s faculty since 2006.
