FT Prep & Comm Piano Teacher

Montana native Billie Howard began playing the violin and piano at the age of four. She received the honor of Outstanding Performance while studying at Montana State University. Her primary piano teachers have been Sylvia Wang, Laurel Yost and Marcia Bosits. She studied violin with Creech and Patricia Reynolds and Johan Jonsson. As a performer, she won several competitions and awards including the Montana State Music Teachers National Association junior piano competition, the Montana Association of String Orchestras young artist competition and the Montana State University Concerto Competition. Howard appears regularly as a soloist and collaborative performer in the Chicago area, having performed with new music ensemble Accessible Contemporary Music, Classical Revolution and the Concordia Chamber Orchestra.
