David Rogner, PhD


Dr. Rogner teaches the following classes at Concordia University Chicago: Literary Theory and Criticism, Romantic Period, Twentieth Century Poetry, Shakespeare, Victorian Age, Arts and Ideas, Introduction to Honors: Critical Thinking, Writing About Literature and Writing Poetry and Fiction. His areas of expertise include British romanticism, and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, 19th and 20th century poetry, Christian art and poetry, and hymn texts. Dr. Rogner is also the faculty adviser to Motif, Concordia-Chicago’s literary and creative arts journal. He has been a member of Concordia’s faculty since 1986.
